Incident in Sandymount, Dublin on the 26/9/10

Gardaí at Irishtown are investigating an incident which occurred between two motorists on Sunday, the 26th September 2010 at 7.25pm approximately.

It happened at the junction of Sandymount Road/Newbridge Avenue and Tritonville Road, Sandymount, Dublin 4.

This incident resulted in serious head injuries to a 49 year old man.  At the time this man was taken to St. Vincents Hospital but was subsequently transferred to Beaumont.

Gardaí would like to appeal to any person who witnessed the incident and request that they contact Irishtown Garda Station on 01 6669600.
