Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Drumard, Dromad, Co.Leitrim, which occurred on the 26th of September 2010 at about 10.00 p.m.
A 25 year old woman was killed when the car she was driving crashed. The woman was on her own in the car at the time and there was no other vehicle involved in the collision. The woman's body was removed from the scene to Sligo General Hospital where an post mortem examination is expected to be carried out today the 27th of September.
The road at the scene remains closed pending an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
