Gardai from Mayfield are examining all the circumstances following the discovery of a body in a flat on Rockspring Terrace, St Lukes, Cork City on the 22nd September 2010. The Gardai are treating the death as suspicious.
The body of a male(62yrs)was discovered this morning the 22nd Sept 2010 at approx 10am. The flat was immediately preserved for a Technical examination, the body remained at the scene until the arrival of the State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy.The body was then removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem is currently taking place.
