Gardai from Mayfield investigating the murder of Michael Healy who was discovered in a flat on Rockspring Terrace, St Lukes, Cork City on the 22nd September 2010.
Have this evening 23rd Sept 2010 arrested a male(38yrs) in Cork city. He is being detained in Mayfield Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Body found Cork City 22nd Sept 2010
Gardai from Mayfield are examining all the circumstances following the discovery of a body in a flat on Rockspring Terrace, St Lukes, Cork City on the 22nd September 2010. The Gardai are treating the death as suspicious.
The body of a male(62yrs)was discovered this morning the 22nd Sept 2010 at approx 10am. The flat was immediately preserved for a Technical examination, the body remained at the scene until the arrival of the State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy. A post mortem is taking place at the moment at Cork University Hospital.
