Gardaí investigating organised crime in the Co Louth area have seized heavy machinery and made four arrests.
In an operation carried out yesterday evening (17/9/10) Gardaí from Dundalk seized a JCB Telescopic Handler and arrested four men in the Ravensdale area of Dundalk.
The four men were detained at Drogheda and Dundalk Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Two of the men (25yrs & 29yrs) were released without charge last night (17/9/10)
A 22 year old man is expected to appear before a special sitting of Dundalk District court later today charged in connection with this investigation and a 19 yr old man remains in custody.
Investigations are continuing.
