Gardaí at Swords investigating the fatal shooting of Sean Winters 40yrs at Station Road, Portmarnock, Co Dublin on Sunday 12th September 2010 are appealing for information.
The incident occurred between 9.45pm and 10.20pm. It is now believed that a Taxi or Taxis may have been in the area at this time and investigating Gardaí are appealing to them to contact the incident room at Swords Garda Station where they may be in a position to provide information.

Gardaí at Malahide are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred near the Portmarnock Dart Station at approx 10.20pm last night (12/9/10)
A man believed to be in his early 40’s was shot a number of times. The body remains at the scene and the scene is preserved pending a Garda forensic examination.
In a follow up operation ten people were arrested last night in North Dublin in connection with this investigation. Seven males and three females (ranging in ages from 56yrs to 24yrs) The ten persons arrested are detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act at various North Dublin Garda Stations.
Gardaí are appealing to any persons who have may witnessed this incident or anyone with information to contact the incident room at Swords 01-6664700, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
