Traffic alert - M6 in Galway on the 12/10/10

The principle Response Agencies including Gardai, Fire Service and Ambulance service, will be conducting an exercise on the M6 motor way this morning, the 12th October 2010.

The M6 motorway (Galway - Dublin) will temporarily close from Junction 19 Westbound to the Coolough roundabout from 09:30 hrs until 12.00 hours.

Westbound traffic will be diverted from 09:30 hrs at Exit 19 via Carrowmonesh roundabout (Oranmore) onto the N6 for Galway.

Eastbound traffic will not be affected.
