Gardai in Dundalk are investigating a serious incident which occurred at Castle Road, Dundalk between 9.00pm and 9.20pm last night, the 13th October 2010.
An 18 year old male was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital following what is believed to have been an altercation between a number of youths. It is believed that he sustained head injuries.
His condition is believed to be serious.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Castle Road area of Dundalk between 9.00pm and 9.30pm last night, the 13th October 2010, or anyone who may have any information to contact Dundalk Garda station on 042-9388400 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111
