Seizure of cannabis plants in Lucan, Dublin on the 20/10/10

Gardai have seized a quantity of cannabis plants following the search of a house in Lucan this afternoon the 20th October 2010.

Gardai carried out a planned search at house at Liffey Walk, Liffey Valley Park, Lucan and discovered a cannabis growing operation.  A total of 254 plants were seized, the cannabis has an estimated street value of €114,000.

The house has been sealed off for a technical examination, no arrests have been made and the operation is ongoing.
