Seizure of cannabis plants at Rathfarnham, Dublin on the 20/10/10

Gardai have seized cannabis plants following a search of a house at Grangewoood, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

On the afternoon of 20th October Gardai searched a house at Grangewood, Rathfarnham.  All four bedrooms of the house were being used to cultivate cannabis plants.  In total Gardai discovered 529 plants, which subject to analysis may have a street value in excess of €200,000.
 

The house was empty at the time of the search and no arrests have been made. A technical examination of the house in being carried out and the operation is ongoing.
