Gardaí have named two of the people who died in separate road traffic collisions in Kerry and Cavan over the weekend 16th/17th October 2010.

Gardaí at Bailieboro in Cavan are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R191 at Tullylorcan, Beglieve at approximately 1.30am this morning, Sunday 17th October 2010.
A 23 year old male driver (and sole occupant) was seriously injured when he lost control of his car and he was taken to Cavan General Hospital.
He died there later this morning.
The road remains closed at present and forensic collision investigators are at scene. Diversions are in place.

Gardaí at Lixnaw in Kerry are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R557 at Irrebeg at approximately 3.30am this morning, Sunday 17th October 2010.
A 27 year old female front seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene after the car she was travelling in lost control.
The road remains closed and traffic diversions are in place.
