Gardai in Dundalk are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 68 year old Brendan Kavanagh from Thomas Street, Dundalk.
Brendan was last seen at 6.30pm yesterday evening, the 30th September at his home.
It is believed that he is driving a gold Renault Scenic Hatchback, registration number 08 D 15230.
Brendan is described as being approximately 5'9" in height, with grey hair and a brown moustache. He normally wears glasses.
When last seen he was wearing a dark blue jumper with a navy shirt and dark jeans.
Brendan may appear confused if approached.
