Firearms recovered and arrest at Lucan, Dublin on the 19/10/10

Gardaí from Lucan have arrested a 22 year old man and recovered a firearm following an operation near Balgaddy, Lucan, Co. Dublin today (19/10/10).

The man is currently detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Ronanstown Garda Station.

The firearm has been removed to Garda Headquarters for technical examination.
