Gardai in Clonakilty are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred about one mile outside Rosscarbery on the Skibbereen Road at approximately 8pm on the 26/10/10.
An 18 year old male passenger in one of the vehicles, a car, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a second passenger in the car were taken to Cork University Hospital with injuries, one described as serious. The driver of the second vehicle, a van, was taken to Cork University Hospital with minor injuries.
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
