Gardai at Milford, Co. Donegal, are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Milford to Cranford Road (R245) at Bunlin Bridge at approximately 5pm on the 18/10/10.
A male in his 80’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving was in collision with a second car. He was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the second car was uninjured. There were no passengers in the cars.
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
