Gardai at Mullinavat are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Kildalton, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny on the 15/10/10 at approximately 12:10am.
A 46 year old female was fatally injured after her car lost control and collided with a ditch. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle. She was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The road between Piltown and Templeorum is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Gardai Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
