The 26 year old man arrested in relation to the investigation into the shooting of Wayne Doherty has been charged and will appear before Dublin District Court at 10.30am this morning.

As part of an investigation into the fatal shooting of 32 year old Wayne Doherty at Oakview Way, Hartstown, Dublin 15, in July 2009, Gardai have arrested a man this evening in Dublin.
The shooting happened on the 4 July 2009.
The 26 year old man was arrested in Dublin this evening the 8 May 2010 and is detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act 1939. He can be held for up to 72 hours
