Investigation into allegations of sexual assaults in the Drogheda area - Arrest

As part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual assaults in the Drogheda area Gardai have this morning (3/5/10) arrested a male in his 70’s in Dublin.

He is currently detained at Drogheda Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 which allows for a detention period of up to 24 hours.
