Fatal road traffic collision on the N4 near Lucan, Dublin on the 13/5/10

Gardai in Lucan are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on The N4 near Lucan, Co. Dublin shortly after 11.00pm on Thursday, the 13 May 2010.

A 44 year old female pedestrian was injured when she was struck by a car on the city bound lane of the N4.

She was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown where she was pronounced dead shortly before 2.00am this morning, the 14 May.

No one else was injured in the incident.
