Gardai at Bruff are investigating a single vehicle Fatal Road Collision which occurred at Main St., Hospital, at approximately 530am this morning.
A male, aged 19 years, was fatally injured when the motor car he was a passenger in collided with a lamp post, the driver a 20 year old male was taken by Ambulance to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
Forensic collision investigators are currently at the scene and traffic diversions are in place.
