Gardai in Gurranabraher are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Harbour View Road, Knocknaheeney, Cork at 11.35pm last night, the 13 May 2010.
A 16 year old male was injured when the car in which he was a back seat passenger was involved in a collision with another car and subsequently collided with a wall.
He, along with the 4 other occupants of the car, was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Neither of the 2 occupants of the other car was injured.
The road at the scene of the incident is closed and diversions are currently in place locally.
