Gardai at Bandon are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Bandon to Halfway Village road at Ballinhassig at approximately 2.20am on the 30/5/10.
A 24 year old male was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the car, a male in his 30’s was taken to Cork Universality Hospital with what are described as serious injuries.
The road has been examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has reopened.
