A male in his late 50's had been arrested.
The man who was being detained at Irishtown Garda station in relation to the ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities at a financial institution, has been released without charge this afternoon, the 25th March 2010.
The investigation is ongoing and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As part of the ongoing investigation by Gardaí from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation into alleged financial irregularities at a financial institution, a search was carried out this morning, the 24th March 2010.
He is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, as amended, at Irishtown Garda Station.
