Fire at premises on Connolly Street, Sligo on the 11/3/10 - Arrests

Gardai investigating a fire at a premises on Connolly Street in Sligo on the 11th of March 2010 have arrested two men.

The two men were arrested in the early hours of this morning and are detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984.The men who are aged 21 and 31 years can be held for up to 24 hours.

The fire at the shop on Connolly Street was discovered at about 12.30 a.m. and resulted in extensive smoke damage to the premises. The scene is preserved for forensic technical examination which will take place today.
