Organised Crime Unit - Man Arrested on the 25/6/10

As part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity Gardai from the Organised Crime Unit have arrested a male aged in his 30's.

The arrest followed the search of a motor car at Manor Street, Dublin, this evening, the 25th June 2010, during which a firearm (hand gun) was recovered.

The man is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 at the Bridewell Garda Station.
