The body of a female discovered at Newcastle, Dublin on 22nd June 2010 has been named by investigating Gardai as that of Helen Donegan from Celbridge, Kildare.
A 52 year old male being held at Clondalkin Garda Station has this evening been charged in relation to this incident.
He will appear be before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court at 1030am tomorrow morning 28th June 2010.

Gardai at Clondalkin investigating the discovered of the body of a female in a vehicle in Newcastle, Co Dublin on 22-06-10 at approximately 5pm arrested a 52 year old male on Tuesday evening.
He is being detained at Clondalkin Garda station under the provisions of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Clondalkin on 01 6667600. Gardai are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity around;
1. St Patrick’s Park, Celbridge between the 4th May 2010 to the 17th May 2010.
2. Kilmactalway, Aylmer Rd, Newcastle and Newcastle village between the 4th May 2010 and the 22nd June 2010 and are interested in the movement of a silver grey Saab Estate 02 D and a blue Seat Estate.
3. Any suspicious movements around the Transport yard

Gardai at Clondalkin are investigating the discovered of the body of a female(no age) in a vehicle in Newcastle, Co. Dublin today 22-06-10 at approx 5pm.The Gardai are treating the death as suspicious. The scene has been preserved for a Technical Examination.
The services of the State Pathologist have been requested. It is expected that a Post Mortem will be carried out tomorrow.
