Gardai at Cavan are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Beaghy, Stradone, Co. Cavan (4 miles Dublin side of Cavan town) at approx 15.50 hrs on the 3rd June 2010.
A 43 yr old male was taken Cavan General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place. The road is expected to open later tonight.
