Gardai at Banagher are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic accident that occurred at Ballyeighter (main Limerick to Athlone Road R438), Banagher, Co. Offaly at 11.45pm on the 12th June 2010.
A 25yr old male was taken Tullamore Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was the sole occupant of the car
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place. The road is expected to open later today.
