Gardai investigating a shooting incident in Fairview are making a further appeal in relation to the discovery of a Gold VW Golf bearing false number plates 05 D 57078 at Verschoyle Court, Dublin 2 shortly after 1am on the 26/7/10.
Gardai wish to establish if this vehicle was used in the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle travelling between Fairview and Verschoyle Court, which is off Mount Street, between 12.30 and 1am.
Anyone who may have observed this vehicle in the hours previous to the shooting, or who may have any information in relation to this vehicle to contact the Incident room at Clontarf on 01-6664800 or the Garda Confidential line 1800-666-111.
The vehicle was burnt out and is currently being technically examined at the scene.
