Gardai at Clontarf investigating a shooting incident at, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 on the 26th July 2010 are renewing their appeal for information about a beige or gold coloured VW Golf bearing false registration plates of 05 D 57078.
This car was seen in the Fairview area at approximately 00.30am on 26th July and a short time later at Verschoyle Court, Dublin 2.
Gardai are appealing to members of the public to report any sightings of this vehicle, which is thought to have travelled through the Fairview, North Strand, Amiens Street, and South inner city areas during the early hours of Monday 26th July 2010 last.

Update - Fairview Shooting Incident
Gardai investigating a shooting incident in Fairview are making a further appeal in relation to the discovery of a Gold VW Golf bearing false number plates 05 d 57078 at Verschoyle Court, Dublin 2 shortly after 1am 26-07-10.
Gardai wish to establish if this vehicle was used in the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle travelling between Fairview and Verschoyle Court, which is off Mount Street, between 12.30 and 1am.
Anyone who may have observed this vehicle in the hours previous to the shooting, or who may have any information in relation to this vehicle to contact the Incident room at Clontarf on 01-6664800 or the Garda Confidential line 1800-666-111.
The vehicle was burnt out and is currently being technically examined at the scene.

Gardai at Clontarf are investigating all of the circumstances of a shooting incident which occurred at Fairview Strand on the 26th of July 2010.
At approximately 0030 hours a lone male, armed with a handgun, approached a group of people standing outside a Public House and fired a number of shots injuring 3 men.
A male in aged in his 30s was taken to the Beaumont Hospital his condition is described as critical. A second male aged in his 20s was taken to the Mater hospital his condition is also described as critical. The third man aged in his 30s whose condition is described as serious was taken to the Mater Hospital.
An incident room has been set up at Clontarf Garda station.
The scene is currently preserved pending a full technical examination and traffic diversions are in place.
