Gardaí at Blanchardstown who are investigating this assault arrrested a male.
The 39 year male who was arrested in connection with this incident will appear at Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow morning (7/7/10) at 10.30am charged in relation to the incident.

Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating a serious assault which occurred at a house on Ladyswell Road, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 at approximately 10am this morning Monday 5th July 2010.
Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating a serious assault which occurred at a house on Ladyswell Road, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 at approximately 10am this morning Monday 5th July 2010.
A 31year old woman was seriously assaulted and taken to Connolly Hospital where her condition is described as serious.
A short time later a 39 year old man was arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are continuing.
