Court appearances following drug seizure West Dublin 26/7/10.
The 3 men detained in relation to a drug seizure in west Dublin on 26/7/10 at Clondalkin Garda Station, will appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30 this morning, the 28/7/10.

As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin West, As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin West, Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit stopped and searched 2 vehicles on the Ninth Lough Road at approximately 7pm yesterday evening, 26th July 2010.A car and a van were searched and 7 kilo's of cannabis herb with an approximate street value of €82,000 (subject to further analysis) were seized.
Three males (aged 31, 35 and 43 years) were arrested and are presently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
In a separate operation the same Garda Units (GNDU & OCU) searched a house in the Clonshaugh area on the Northside of Dublin.
During the course of this search a substantial quantity of cash was recovered and a 19 year old man was arrested.
He is presently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
