Drug seizure and arrest in Saggart, Dublin on the 6/7/10

As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Ballyfermot area Gardaí searched a house in College Lands, Mill Road, Saggart, Co. Dublin, earlier this afternoon, the 6/7/10.

This was a joint operation involving the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit and the Garda National Drugs Unit.
 
Heroin and cocaine with a combined potential street value (subject to analysis) of €200,000 were seized.
 
A 28 year old male was also arrested.  He is presently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
