Gardai at Navan investigating the death of Martin O’Gorman have arrested two males aged in their late teens.
They were arrested this morning, the 7th July 2010, and are currently detained at Kells and Navan Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act,1984.

Gardai investigating the death of Martin O’Gorman following an incident at Navan on 21st June, 2010, have issued a further appeal for information.
Investigating Gardai are anxious to speak to a number of persons who may have been in the vicinity of Academy Street shortly before 0030 hours on Monday 21st June.
These include:
1. A male cycling a bicycle along Academy Street in direction of the Dublin Road at around 0020 hours. This male was wearing dark clothing with a hood up and had white stripes on his trousers/tracksuit bottoms and wore white runners.
2. A Black VW Golf (or similar type car) travelling along Academy Street towards the Dublin Road around 0030 hours.
3. A saloon motor car (not better described) travelling towards the town around 0030 hours.

A 63 year old male seriously assaulted during an incident at Academy Street, Navan, Co. Meath, on 21st June 2010, has passed away this afternoon at Beaumont Hospital.
A post mortem examination will be carried out by the acting Deputy State Pathologist tomorrow morning, 28th June 2010.
Investigating Gardai are renewing their appeal for anyone with information to contact Navan Garda Station 046-9079930, or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Gardaí in Navan are investigating a serious assault which occurred at Academy St Navan at approximately 12.30am this morning (21/6/10)
A 63 year old male received serious injuries and is being treated at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed an incident at this location to contact the Incident Room at Navan.
They are particularly anxious to trace the 63 year olds movements prior to the assault. Investigators would also like to speak to a number of people who were in Academy Street at approximately 12.30am this morning (21/6/10)
