Gardai in Askeaton are investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2.45am on 1/1/10.
The collision occurred on a minor road in the townsland of Finnoe, near Ballyhahill, Co. Limerick. A man, aged 24 years, was seriously injured when the motor car he was driving collided with a ditch.
He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead this afternoon 2/1/10.
