Gardai in Granard, Co. Longford are investigating the circumstance of a fatal road traffic collision in Drumlish on the 31st Jan 2010
The collision occurred between a car and a male pedestrian (59yrs) on the Drumlish to Mohill Road at approx. 18.30hrs on the 31st January 2010 approx ¼ of a mile outside Drumlish. The body of the male was removed to Mullingar Hospital.
The road has been closed for a Forensic Collision examination and will remain closed until mid morning at the earliest on the 1st February 2010. Diversions are in place.
