Death of new born baby in Westport, Mayo on the 18/1/10

Gardai are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a newly born, full term baby boy in a house in a village near Westport, Co. Mayo, on the 18/1/10.

A post mortem has been conducted by the State Pathologist Dr. Marie Cassidy and the results have been made available to the investigation team. A technical examination has taken place at the house where the baby’s body was discovered.
