Gardai at Ardee, Co.Louth are investigating all the circumstances following the robbery of an amount of cash from the Post Office at Castlebellingham, Co. Louth which occurred earlier this morning, 26th February 2010.

A number of men called to a house in the locality early this morning and threatened the occupants.
Some time later a substantial amount of money was removed from the post office.
Gardaí are appealing to members of the public who may have seen anything suspicious or unusal in or around The Village Stores, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth which incorporates The Post Office early this morning to contact them at the incident room at Ardee Garda Station on 041-6853222, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
