There has been a fatal road traffic collision in Co. Limerick.
Gardai at Rathkeale are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N21 at Coolanoran, Ardagh, Co. Limerick at approximately 19.30 hours on 7/2/10.
A male pedestrian aged in his 50's was fatally injured when struck by a passing motor car. This followed an earlier minor collision which occurred some minutes earlier at the same location.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene.
