Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting which occurred at a house in Fortlawn Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 at approximately 4am this morning, the 16th February 2010
Gardaí at Blanchardstown will hold a Press Briefing at Blanchardstown Garda Station at 12 noon today, the 16/2/10 in relation to this morning's shooting incident at Fortlawn.

A 21 year old man received fatal injuries following the shooting. His body remains at the scene, pending a Garda technical examination and the arrival of the State
Pathologist.
Two men, aged 18 and 23 years, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
