Fatal road traffic collision at Letterkenny, Donegal on the 16/2/10

Gardai at Letterkenny are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at a housing estate in Ballymacool, Letterkenny on the 16/2/10 at approximately 11.30am.

A 3 year old boy was fatally injured when a refuse lorry collided with him. The boy was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the lorry was treated for shock .  
 

The scene is currently sealed off and is being examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
