Gardai in Kilmacrennan in Co. Donegal are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at Main Street, Kilmacrennan at 3.45am this morning, the 21st february 2010.
A 28 year old female was fatally injured after the car in which she was a front seat passenger collided with a wall.
The male driver of the car was taken to Letterkenny Hospital. He was not seriously injured.
No one else was injured in the collision. The scene is being preserved for a technical examination and diversions are in place locally.
