Gardaí from the Tallaght District Drugs Unit assisted by other local units have seized heroin with an estimated street value of €1.2million (Subject to analysis) and arrested two men following an operation last night, the 9/2/10.
Following a planned search two houses were searched in the Kilclare Estate in Tallaght at approximately 10.30pm last night, during the course of both search’s heroin with a street value of €1.2million was discovered.
Two men (22 yrs & 38 yrs) have been arrested and are currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 Drug Trafficking Act.
This seizure was part of Operation Creeper, which is targeting burglaries and serious crime in Dublin.
Investigations are continuing.
