Drug seizure and arrest at Finglas, Dublin on the 19/2/10

Seizure of 20 kilos of Cannabis resin Finglas 19th Feb 2010.

Uniformed Gardai from Finglas on Operation Hybrid stopped and searched a youth (21yrs) at approx 17.30hrs on the 19th Feb 2010 on Cappagh Road, Finglas.

During the course of the search Gardai uncovered 20 kilos of cannabis resin (subject to analysis) with a street value of €120,000.  The youth was arrested and conveyed to Finglas Garda Station, where he was detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
