Body discovered at Gardiners Hill, Cork city on the 21/2/10

Gardai at Mayfield are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of the body of a woman believed to be in her 80’s at a house on New Road, Gardiners Hill, Cork this evening at 5p.m., the 21st February 2010.

The scene has been sealed off. A technical examination is taking place at the scene and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.  A post mortem is likely to take place tomorrow morning.
