Gardaí at Swords Co Dublin are investigating all the circumstances surrounding a stabbing incident which occurred in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, the 12th December 2010).
A number of people were socialising in a nightclub at the Airside Business Park, Swords, Dublin and left shortly before 3am (12/12/10).
At approximately 4am a man in his late 20’s was taken to the Rotunda Hospital having suffered what appeared to be serious stab wounds. He was transferred immediately to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital.
This man died at 4pm this afternoon (12/12/10)
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident or to anyone that can assist with the investigation, particularly members of the Polish Community to contact Swords Garda Station 01-666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
