Four men will appear at the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts of Justice.
On Parkgate Street, this morning, the 3/12/10 at 11.30am charged in relation to the incident on the N1 on the 30/11/10.

As the result of an ongoing operation targeting Dissident republicans Gardaí last night, the 30/11/10, stopped and searched a car travelling Northbound on the N1, North of Dundalk, at 9.30pm.
A mortar type device was discovered in the car and as a consequence the services of an Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team was requested. The device was then rendered safe.
Two men were arrested at the scene, both in their 20's, and another man in his 30's was arrested nearby.
In a follow up operation a property was searched in Drumiskin and another man in his 30's was arrested. A number of items were seized in this search and are subject to technical examination.
The 4 arrested men are being detained in Drogheda, Balbriggan and Santry Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.
This operation was carried out by our Special Detective Unit assisted by local Gardaí and the car stop was made by our Emergency Response Unit.
