Gardai have arrested a male and seized controlled substances with an estimated value of over one million Euro following an intelligence led operation in Co. Louth on the 11/12/10.
Gardai from Ardee carried out a planned search on a residence in Dromiskin, Co. Louth this morning (11/12/10) and seized controlled substances (subject to analysis) associated with Head Shops, with an estimated value of over one million Euro . During the course of the search a stun gun was also seized.
In a follow up search at another residence in the Dromiskin area this evening another amount of controlled substances were seized and a male in his 30’s was arrested at the scene in relation to the seizures. He is currently detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
