Gardai at Swords investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of an improvised explosive device under a vehicle in the car park of the Airside Retail Park in Swords wish to appeal for witnesses.
Gardai were alerted to a device under a 00 D registration Blue Range Rover 4x4 shortly after 1.30am this morning (12.12.10). The immediate area surrounding the vehicle was cordoned off and Army E.O.D contacted. A controlled explosion was later carried out on the device by Army E.O.D. There was no one injured.
