Update in relation to Organised Crime Operation in South and South Eastern Regions:
One male in his 40's detained at Mallow Garda Station was released from the provisions of Section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act last night and appeared this morning at Dungarvan District Court.
A second man, in his late 20's, who was detained at Thurles Garda Station will appear at a special sitting of Tralee District Court this evening 1st August, 2010 at 8p.m. A third man, in his late 30's, who had been detained at Thomastown Garda Station will appear at a special sitting of Wexford District Court at 7.30 p.m. this evening (01.08.2010).
One male remains in custody in Mallow Garda Station detained under Section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act and the remaining 7 (seven)men have all been released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
